Reader’s Theater: Bringing Stories to Life Out Loud
Come help us put on a show! We’ll perform stories from different world cultures and also write some scripts of our own. Readers and writers of all ages are welcome! Leave your camera on or turn it off: we just need your voices to bring the stories to life.
SESSION 1: Friday, July 21
In our first synchronous meet-up we’ll get to know each other and decide what we would like to do together. Laura will share some resources, like the scripts at this site from last year. Please bring resources you would like to share!
Then, we’ll brainstorm the kinds of scripts we would like to read together in our next three sessions and think about the best options for collaborative writing.
If there’s time, we can start writing together using this script-frame: Who Will Be King? That Google Doc is open for editing now; please feel free to jump in anytime and start writing.
