Brenna Clarke Gray

Co-facilitator, Co-organizer, Open Education and Digital Literacies

I am Coordinator, Educational Technologies at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada, where I help faculty to use technology more effectively. When I’m not thinking and writing about the ethics of edtech and the importance of care, I’m making podcasts and playing with animated gifs. Before moving into faculty support, I was a community college English instructor for nine years. My background is in comics scholarship and Canadian literature, and I hold a PhD from the University of New Brunswick. I’m also a mum, cat mum, and devoted baker of all things bread.

Why I’m in MYFest
Because I believe in the power of community to create care-centred, meaningful professional development. And because I want to have fun with people I love and admire.

MYFest involvement: Co-organizer and ethical edtech things!
