Originally from the USA, I’ve been teaching English for over 20 years, primarily in Germany. I earned degrees in German (BA & MA) and Teaching English as a Second Language (MA) from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, USA. I enjoy writing and am part of the editing team of MindBrainEd Think Tanks, an open-access online magazine published monthly by the Japan Association of Language Teaching. Since 2013, I’ve worked as a Coordinator of Business English at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen in Germany.

Why I’m in MYFest: For me MYFest is a wonderful opportunity to connect with students and educators from across the globe. By gradually building and deepening relationships with one another over time, we learn and grow. MYFest is a space to feel deeply, celebrate, and create in community.
