I’m a dedicated educator with a demonstrated history of working in the educational field. I have a master’s degree in international and comparative education with concentration on teaching and learning from the American University in Cairo. My study focus is on equity and accessibility of teaching and learning. In addition to being a practitioner and teaching in schools, I had the chance to be a research assistant and teaching assistant at the American University in Cairo during my master’s. I also co-organized many projects targeting refugees and underserved students including an educational conference for Yemeni schools in Cairo and partnering with an NGO to teach English to 49 underserved students from Yemen, Sudan, Eritrea, and Egypt.

Why I’m in MYFest: I’m passionate about creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students, and I’m committed to staying current with the latest teaching methodologies and technologies. I am excited to continue to grow as an educator and make a meaningful contribution to the field of education, and MYFest help me to achieve these goals.
